Position

AIXE is a DePIN protocol on Base. Users contribute idle GPUs and Apple-silicon to a shared pool. AI agents consume that pool — for inference, embeddings, planning, tool execution. Mining is Proof-of-Useful-Compute: every verified work-unit emits AIXE to the executing node. The economic layer is built on Uniswap v4 hooks.

Three layers

Compute (off-chain client + TEE / redundant / zkML verification). Settlement (Base — AIXE token, NodeRegistry, JobEscrow, v4 hooks). Agent layer (external Virtuals / Eliza / LangGraph and internal scheduler / fraud-detector / forecaster / reputation). The protocol is its own first customer — the agents that run AIXE are themselves customers of AIXE.

Five hooks

Dynamic fee — pool fee tier climbs when compute is scarce, capturing value at the worst moments to be a buyer. Streaming — agent drips AIXE to a node each block, proportional to consumed compute. Limit order — miner posts a sell-N-TFLOPS·hr-at-floor offer; scheduler matches demand. Reward redistribution — 30% of swap fees pool into an epoch bucket distributed to miners. JIT-liquidity — large agent buys are served with concentrated liquidity staged and withdrawn atomic to the swap.

Verification continuum

TEE attestation (SGX, AWS Nitro, H100 confidential computing) for cheap work. Redundant 2-of-3 with slashing for valuable work. zkML for critical work where the proving cost falls below the work value. Honest compute is always the cheapest path.

Supply

Hard cap 1,000,000 AIXE — fixed. Emission only against verified work-units. No block-time inflation. Slashed stake routes to insurance pool, not burn. Governance votes hook parameters via AIXE.

Why Base

Sub-cent gas matters because compute billing is per-block. Coinbase one-click onboarding matters because miners are physical-world people. Uniswap v4 is deployed — hooks ship today. A native agent ecosystem already lives here. We do not have to manufacture demand; we absorb it.

Operating envelope

The verification stack handles drift: TEE re-attestation on a rolling window, redundant-compute consensus on the valuable, zkML for the critical. The insurance pool covers honest faults; slashing covers dishonest ones. Governance over hook parameters is on-chain, weighted by AIXE held.
